Pumpkin Patch Fundraiser, Burr Ridge

On October 4, volunteers from Lend a Hand Tutor's Illinois Chapter helped prepare Burr Ridge Community Church's annual Pumpkin Patch Fundraiser by unloading pumpkins from a delivery truck and arranging them on the church lawn. The sale supports the church's community programs, including its 24-hour Community Micro Pantry. For our students, the work showed how teamwork and behind-the-scenes effort help a local organization sustain programs that neighbors rely on.
