Our New Jersey Chapter returned to Paramus for Hackensack Riverkeeper's Mitzvah Day Cleanup. Surrounded by bright fall foliage, volunteers combed a wooded area for litter, filling trash bags with debris before it could wash into local waterways.
Our New Jersey Chapter joined Hackensack Riverkeeper to clean up Lincoln Park West in Jersey City, NJ. Volunteers removed litter and debris along the Hackensack River Greenway, helping protect the river's shoreline and the local environment.
Our Illinois Chapter helped Burr Ridge Community Church prepare its annual Pumpkin Patch Fundraiser, unloading pumpkins from a delivery truck and arranging them on the lawn to support community programs like its 24-hour Micro Pantry.
Our New Jersey Chapter volunteered for the Michele B-Day Cleanup at Skeetkill Creek Marsh, where we removed litter and debris to help preserve and protect the local wetland ecosystem.
Our New Jersey Chapter joined the Hudson River Fishermen's Association for the Pledge Per Pound Cleanup in Closter, NJ. Volunteers worked together to remove litter and debris, helping protect the health of the Hudson River watershed.
Our Illinois Chapter volunteered with Feed My Starving Children in Schaumburg, IL. Students hand-packed MannaPack meals of rice, soy, dried vegetables, and vitamins, preparing boxes for delivery to children in crisis around the world.
Our Virginia Chapter volunteered with Rise Against Hunger, packaging over 20,000 nutritious meals for communities facing food insecurity. Volunteers measured, sealed, and prepared meal kits that will nourish families in need.

Our new California Chapter organized a cleanup near Palo Alto Park, bringing Lend a Hand's environmental service to the West Coast. Volunteers picked up litter to help keep the park and neighborhood clean.
Our New Jersey Chapter teamed up with Hackensack Riverkeeper and helped clean up the Oradell Reservoir. The reservoir supplies drinking water to communities in northern New Jersey, so keeping its shoreline free of litter matters.
Our New Jersey Chapter teamed up with Bayonne Nature Club and helped clean up Rutkowski Park in Bayonne. Braving hot, humid weather, volunteers recovered litter and debris from Newark Bay, contributing to 645 pounds collected that day.
Our Virginia Chapter volunteered to clean up Nottoway Park in Vienna, Virginia, picking up litter to help keep the park clean and welcoming for the families and neighbors who enjoy it.
Our New Jersey Chapter participated in Hackensack Riverkeeper's River Cleanup Program and removed 1,413 pounds of trash from the Hackensack River Watershed, even helping carry heavy floating lumber out of the water.
Our New Jersey Chapter volunteered for the Meadowlands Birding Festival, where we directed visitors to events and locations and spread awareness for the conservation of the Meadowlands ecosystem.
