Our New Jersey Chapter participated in Hackensack Riverkeeper’s River Cleanup Program and removed 1,413 pounds of trash from the Hackensack River Watershed.
“without the help of your volunteers, we would not have had such a successful event. The hard work and dedication everyone placed into cleaning the park and County Road Extention helped prevent hundreds of pounds of litter from entering the Hackensack River! Also, the younger volunteers helped us carry hefty floating pieces of lumber from the water, which would have been nearly impossible without their assistance!”
